Wealthy merchants boarded a ship with their property, their slaves and their pride of men free from any
need. Sailors wear their trunks full of jewels, gold and rich fabrics while they have no other luggage than a villain
vacuum bag and an old blanket. But the sea is oil and the wind is not determined to up.
On board, traders behave as if they order the
Gods themselves by railing against the stars, regretting that
the wind does not blow with more force and humiliating sailors
who "know nothing about the art of navigation."
So much so that the gods ultimately hear and decide
to meet their wishes by sending a terrible storm to punish them.
The dark clouds are gathering on the horizon and the wind is announced by
small wrinkles closer and closer together on the surface of the sea
Sailors understand that they will live with terrible hours and
ready to take their positions, while the rich merchants, happy
the worst of the storm, the sailors realize they can not
not get away safely without releasing ballast.
Anxious to save their ship, they do not hesitate to pass
heaviest baggage overboard. But the rich do not hear
not that way and cling to their trunks as if it were
that they were going to save them.
They beg the gods to spare them and cry like children.
The captain is forced to threaten to throw some
water with their trunks to agree to part with their gold.
The enormous weight and released, the vessel's stability.
at the gods have heard, mock the cowardice of the crew.
The storm and soon the crew are saved. Sailors are
happy but wealthy merchants remain silent with their wealth,
what they believe is their life destroyed.
What is most important: our property or our lives? too
often, for our material goods we put our health at risk.
We dedicate our lives to money and life between us too fast file
fingers.
How to make a living ... without losing it?
Just like those merchants, we have less baggage to carry,
more our burden will be light ... and the storm will be less formidable.
He who loses wealth loses much. He loses a friend loses who more, But he that loses courage loses all...
